I photographed this Tricolored Heron (Egretta tricolor) a few years ago when I still lived in Florida. The heron was hunting on the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico when a wave came in and created the sea foam where the bird was standing. I like how some of the foam flew into the air around the heron.
P.S.: My mother is visiting me on her first trip to Utah, she is going to love it! I’ll be slow to view and comment on your blogs, thanks for understanding. Please feel free to share this post with your friends and family.
