The Barn Owl After Being ReleasedThe Barn Owl After Being Released ©Marilyn Kircus, used with permission

I wanted to let all of my viewers know that yesterday the Barn Owl I helped rescue on September 9th in the Centennial Valley was released at the Lower Lake of Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. Marilyn Kirkus, a volunteer at the refuge and a friend, allowed me to use her photo showing the Barn Owl as it flew away.

I absolutely love that this image shows him flying wild and free the way he should be. Thank you Marilyn.

I am grateful for the help that Bill West, the Manager of Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge provided by taking the owl and getting it to Dillon and for the care and rehabilitation that the Montana Raptor Conservation Center of Bozeman provided for the rescued Barn Owl while he was in their care.

I feel blessed to have been a part of the rescue and release of this beautiful Barn Owl.

Fly Free…

Life is good
