Waking up this morning I realize it is Monday and Mondays don’t bother me as much as most people because I don’t have a normal job but for some people Monday makes them want to scream, crawl back into bed, hide their heads or all of the above.
I survived Black Friday without having to go to a store but my email inbox suffered greatly as companies I ordered from in the past sent email after email announcing their sales. Best Buy gets the “Most Annoying” award because those emails seemed to come in every hour. Still, I must have gotten 100 or more sales emails on Black Friday. Instead I did what many other (sane) people did, I opted outside. Went out into nature to photograph birds. I pretty much got skunked but I didn’t go to a mall or participate in the #BlackFriday madness so I feel like I won.
After Black Friday the early Cyber Monday emails started arriving. One after the other, every hour of the day.

Every company I have ever bought from since the dawn of internet sales seems to have my number, errr, email address.
Enough already. Is it any wonder I feel like the juvenile White-crowned Sparrow in this photo that is hiding its head? My inbox is getting junked up and my delete key is smoking from deleting the Cyber Monday sales pitches.
Me? I just wanted to share something with everyone that isn’t a Cyber Monday sales offer. A little laughter and a bird hiding its head.

I have a separate email for ordering online vs personal communications. I largely ignore it except to follow purchases. You would think they would get a clue from what I call that e-mail. april.junkonline.
I do prefer deleting emails to the parking problem and crowds of people shopping.
Auto Zone is my most annoying but I do like the specials PBS.org is offering.
I think that bird has been watching TV, esp. affter Nov. 8th…..
