Tyrant Flycatchers<\/h2>\n

Family: Tyrannidae<\/i><\/p>\n

In North America there are 43 species in 15 genera in the family of tyrant flycatchers. Most flycatchers are drab in coloration and have broad based, flattened bills. Small species are often found in brushy woods while larger species are found in more open areas and are considerably more aggressive.<\/p>\n

Almost all flycatchers feed on insects and are known for strong buoyant flight, quick turns, their agility, and intriguing behaviors. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
