Family: Cardinalidae<\/em><\/h2>\n

There are 18 species in 7 genera in this family.<\/p>\n

This family includes Tanagers, Cardinals, Pyrrhuloxias, Grosbeaks, Buntings and Dickcissels.<\/p>\n

All species primarily feed on insects and larvae in the summer and seeds or fruits in the winter. Many of the members in this family have brightly colored males. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
