Families: Bombycillidae, Ptiliogonatidae, Calcariidae<\/em><\/p>\n

Waxwings are sleek, social birds with silky plumage and bright red wax-like tips on their wings. In North America, Cedar and Bohemian Waxwings are often seen in flocks feeding on berries.<\/p>\n

Silky-Flycatchers are soft-feathered, slender birds, with the Phainopepla being the only North American representative. They\u2019re known for their glossy appearance and their fondness for both berries and insects.<\/p>\n

Longspurs are sparrow-sized, ground-dwelling birds of open fields and tundra. Their subtle beauty and melodic songs make them a treat to spot, especially during their striking breeding season. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>
