A few days ago while photographing some Greater Yellowlegs and Wilson’s Snipes at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area a couple of Song Sparrows also found their way into my viewfinder.<\/p>\n

The sparrows were foraging along the shore of the water when this Song Sparrow popped up on a bent over Curly dock plant that partially hung over the water. I enjoyed the pose and the dark blue of the water at the lower right hand corner.<\/p>\n

I have been enjoying listening to the sweet calls of the Song Sparrows, I think they are aptly named because their songs are delightful, you can listen to a few of the calls and songs here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
