This morning I am keeping this fading Flatbud Prickly Poppy post short and sweet for two simple reasons.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. I have been having internet connection issues for sometime now and it has been extremely frustrating. Okay, it has been more than frustrating. My patience has been tried.<\/li>\n
  2. It has been five days since I have been in the field due to clouds in the mornings and I am heading to some place where there are birds and joy as soon as I can this morning. I need and deserve it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Last week while I was in the West Desert I saw several blooming clumps of Flatbud Prickly Poppies<\/span><\/a>. When I found one close to the road I stopped to take photos of it. Both of the blooms on the plant were a little faded but I still saw the beauty in them. The golden light of dawn made them glow and seem even more beautiful.<\/p>\n

    Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
