As I took these Yellow Warbler photos earlier this week in the mountains I realized that my time with these bright birds is coming to an end for the season. They will be migrating soon.<\/p>\n

This breeding season I watched and photographed Yellow Warblers building nests and incubating for the first time. That was such a thrill.<\/p>\n

I’ve photographed the adults of this species and their young in their gray and yellow plumage phase. Each and every time I’ve gotten these lemony colored birds in my viewfinder I have smiled. It would be hard not to smile.<\/p>\n

With their breeding season complete the Yellow Warblers I see are getting into shape for the fall migration. Most of these warblers have completed their molt.\u00a0 All of them are busy capturing insects and eating berries to build strength before they leave.<\/p>\n

I only have a few more weeks to enjoy watching the adults and young Yellow Warblers<\/span><\/a> that hatched this year. I plan on savoring each and every encounter.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
