Simple things in nature delight me so being able to photograph this juvenile White-crowned Sparrow on a wild rose did just that, it delighted me. This juvenile and an adult White-crowned were perching on the wild Rose in the early morning to warm up, there was still some frost on the leaf by the sparrow’s tail and on the west side of the stem. I really enjoy the over the shoulder look the young sparrow gave me.<\/p>\n

In the interest of full disclosure I did clone out a branch tip on the left side of the frame above where my copyright watermark is. I don’t normally remove or add things to my image but that branch tip just looked out of place.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
