Today’s post is about a quiet moment of serenity along the river when I needed a strong but soothing dose of nature. I’ve always felt connected to water and this river soothed my spirit.<\/p>\n

It might seem kind of odd for me to be connected so deeply to water since my father died in the water. But the truth is that I feel disconnected when I’m not around some kind of source of good old h2<\/sub>o.<\/p>\n

I have been going through some difficulties lately that I don’t want to really get into today. A few minutes of serenity along a river yesterday sure seemed to help my spirits. I even did a video of the river that I hope to post sometime later.<\/p>\n

Listening to the water lapping against the shoreline and hearing the birds calling overhead helped to soothe me. The tang of salt, the breeze plus the clouds in the distance helped too.<\/p>\n

I’m OK, truly I am. This is another season and a cycle of my life and I’m going through some stuff like all of us do.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
