This is the same young Barred Owl that I shared in my post yesterday<\/span><\/a> which was photographed at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge<\/span><\/a> in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

The photo above was taken prior to the image I shared yesterday and before it pounced on the crawdad. The fledgling Barred Owl landed in the road at the refuge and looked directly at Steve<\/span><\/a> and I sitting in his pickup. It parallaxed several times before it flew up into a dead tree near one of its parents.<\/p>\n

The story of photographing this young owl will be continued another day. For now I just loved the look Steve and I were getting from this young Barred Owl and wanted to share it today. Those ebony-colored eyes are mesmerizing. I couldn’t resist them if I tried.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
