Two days ago while I was up in the Wasatch Mountains, I photographed this Least Chipmunk nibbling on a serviceberry that wasn’t anywhere near ripe. The berry was mostly green.<\/p>\n

The Least Chipmunk was such a cutie pie that I couldn’t resist photographing the fuzzy creature. I’m very fond of chipmunks; you might even say that I’m enchanted by them. I adore their sweet faces, their quick movements, and how they flick their tails when they’re excited, among other characteristics that they have.<\/p>\n

Least Chipmunks are the chipmunk species I see and photograph most often in the Wasatch Mountains. I also encounter Uinta Chipmunks in the Uinta Mountains, along with the Least Chipmunks.<\/p>\n

It was great photographing this chipmunk with my dear friend, April Olson<\/span><\/a>, while finding birds and catching up on each other’s lives while we were high in the mountains. We had so much fun that we’re meeting up again this morning. See you soon, April! I wonder what we will discover today!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
