I spent lots of time camping, immersing myself in nature, photographing birds, animals and scenery. I revisited areas that tug at my heart and journeyed to areas I have never been to\u00a0before.<\/p>\n<p>The selection of birds above were all taken in 2013 and they include images from all four seasons. It would be impossible for me to pick my &#8220;favorites&#8221; of the year because each subject that I photographed\u00a0brought me joy and delight.<\/p>\n<p>Life <em>is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n<p>I wish everyone the best for 2014, Happy New Year.<\/p>\n<p>Mia<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2013 was a busy, productive although sometimes frustrating year.
