\"ChukarChukar on a bright winter day<\/span><\/p>\n

The weather forecast for today isn’t as bright as it was on the day last January when I photographed this Chukar walking across a field of fresh snow\u00a0instead the forecast\u00a0for today is rather dreary.<\/p>\n

There won’t be any sparkles on the snow currently on the ground because; well, it doesn’t look like the sun will break through the clouds.<\/p>\n

The morning I photographed this Chukar was clear and finger-numbing cold as the Chukars were out and about foraging for any seeds they could find on Antelope Island State Park in the bright sunshine.<\/p>\n

I laughed quite often because the Chukars<\/span><\/a> would break through the thin crust that had formed overnight on the snow and would be chest deep in the white stuff.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
