While male Pine Warblers might be brighter than females, this female Pine Warbler has a soft beauty of her own. I can’t deny thinking that she is gorgeous.<\/p>\n

I took photos of the female warbler several days ago when she came into my friend Steve Creek’s suet feeder<\/span><\/a>. Before she went to the feeder, she landed briefly on the post for the bluebird nest box. During the time she was on the post, she looked around and shook her feathers.<\/p>\n

The females seem to come into the suet feeder less often than the brightly colored males. I felt obligated to take and share these images. Really, I am taking delight in doing so.<\/p>\n

Last year, I only took documentary images of the female Pine Warblers I saw here in Arkansas. This year, I have been deeply satisfied with the photos I am getting of both sexes.<\/p>\n

The weather has been tricky for several days, with intermittent heavy cloud cover, sporadic rain, and challenging photography conditions. My Nikon D500 is handling the lighting conditions like a champ, as per usual.<\/p>\n

I have so many more images to share from my visit here in Arkansas of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, and more. It is amazing to be here.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
