I’m sharing these seven Eastern Bluebird images that I took yesterday because I like them and because I am getting behind on sharing Arkansas photos. Besides, who doesn’t like bluebirds?<\/p>\n

\"ImmatureImmature and female Eastern Bluebirds bathing<\/span><\/p>\n

I was only outside for a few minutes when I spotted the female Eastern Bluebird perched above the birdbath. Then the immature bluebird came in. I got set up to photograph them and they went about the business of beings bluebirds at a birdbath.<\/p>\n

I thought it was unique that the female and immature Eastern Bluebirds bathed at the same time because the adult bluebirds have been chasing away the young of the second and most recent brood. They are currently feeding the chicks of the third brood of the year.<\/p>\n

Why the female didn’t chase off the young bluebird is a mystery to me. I suspect only she knows the answer to that question. I also don’t know why the male didn’t chase off the immature bluebird.<\/p>\n

I should mention that the female was down in the birdbath bathing when I took the fourth photo, that is why there are flying water droplets in that frame.<\/p>\n

While I didn’t have a lot of time with these bathing Eastern Bluebirds<\/span><\/a>, I made the best of the moments I did have.<\/p>\n

I don’t have that many images of young Eastern Bluebirds in my galleries so I suspect that I will add a few more to my Eastern Bluebird gallery later, maybe even this evening.<\/p>\n

Anytime I have Eastern Bluebirds in my viewfinder I am going to take as many photos as my heart desires. Why wouldn’t I? They all make me happy.<\/p>\n
