This morning I’m sharing one White-throated Sparrow photo taken late last month on a cloudy day. I was thrilled to see and hear<\/span><\/a> this gorgeous bird.<\/p>\n

I do wish the light had been better, but I know I’ll have more chances with this sparrow species soon, and hopefully, I\u2019ll have great light.<\/p>\n

The White-throated Sparrows have been a bit shy about coming to the seed feeder so far, but this one showed up for a few seconds. I’ve been hearing their sweet, melodic songs even before sunrise and into the late evening.<\/p>\n

I’m sure it won’t be long before more White-throated Sparrows join the Dark-eyed Juncos, White-crowned Sparrows, and other birds that will overwinter here.<\/p>\n

Today doesn\u2019t look great for bird photography, but I do enjoy a challenge and love getting rain streaks in my images.<\/p>\n

Who knows? Maybe the rain will be a blessing in disguise, and the birds will pile into the feeders. I can always dress warmer to sit outdoors with the birds.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
