I had high hopes that one of the eagles might fly close enough for high-quality, frame-filling shots, but that wasn\u2019t meant to be.<\/p>\n<p>Mostly, I was enchanted by the foggy views along the lake shore. It felt peaceful. It <em>was<\/em> peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>I also recorded videos of the fog and the nearby birds, but the video below practically whispered to me that others might enjoy seeing it too.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-video fusion-youtube fusion-aligncenter\" style=\"--awb-max-width:950px;--awb-max-height:534px;--awb-width:100%;--awb-margin-bottom:24px;\" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/VideoObject\"><meta itemprop=\"duration\" content=\"PT18S\" \/><meta itemprop=\"name\" content=\"Bald Eagle in a fog at Charleston Lake, Arkansas\" \/><meta itemprop=\"description\" content=\"A few peaceful moments in nature at Charleston Lake, Arkansas. Other bird sounds included a Northern Flicker calling and a White-throated Sparrow near the end of the video.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know who else might need a few moments of nature, but after the past 10\u201311 days, I think I could watch this video over and over again simply because it relaxes me.
