Happy Valentine’s Day! I never much cared for cut flowers and prefer to see them in nature so today I present a wet American White Waterlily (Nymphaea odorata<\/em>) I photographed in 2007 at Sawgrass Lake Park in Florida.<\/p>\n

I photographed this beautiful wildflower after a brief downpour in June so I would capture the water droplets still on the blossom. The clouds overhead were reflected in the water which is what gave it a silvery hue.<\/p>\n

I also photographed this Lanced-leaved Arrowhead (Sagittaria lancifolia<\/em>) in Florida on a bright April day in 2009 and was pleased that the bee came out so well too.<\/p>\n

So, these are my wildflowers for Valentine’s Day<\/p>\n
