Most of my time spent photographing birds at Fort De Soto County Park was in the early morning hours but the times I photographed in the evenings were just as magical.<\/p>\n

The light around sunrise and sunset is “sweet light” for bird photography and whenever possible I try to find birds in that light.<\/p>\n

The sun angle is low and the light on birds at sunset seems to make them glow.<\/p>\n

The tide was rushing out of the tidal lagoon very quickly when I photographed this Roseate Spoonbill at the “Magic Hour” and the light on the Spoonbill and the Spartina behind it enchanted me. I hope that it enchants you too.<\/p>\n
