Its tail is still very short. He or she may have fledged from the nest in just the last day or so.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been enjoying seeing the adult <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allaboutbirds.org\/guide\/Mourning_Dove\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mourning Doves<\/span><\/a> on a daily basis here. I especially enjoyed it when I was able to photograph them in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onthewingphotography.com\/wings\/2025\/02\/09\/mourning-dove-in-an-arkansas-winter-wonderland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">snow<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other doves I&#8217;ve seen since moving here include the Eurasian Collared-Doves that are not native and the smaller native Inca Doves.
