It\u2019s been hot here in Arkansas, so I thought I\u2019d share a photo of a striking Common Grackle in the snow because it\u2019s a cooling winter view.<\/p>\n

I took this image in January of this year after we had about ten inches of that white fluffy stuff fall. It was a winter wonderland for a few days, and I loved it. The birds seemed to enjoy it too.<\/p>\n

Common Grackles weren\u2019t common at all where I lived in Utah. In all the years I lived there, I only found and pointed out one<\/em> next to Glover Pond at Farmington Bay WMA<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here in Arkansas, I see them frequently and I even photographed a Common Grackle chick this year. I need to edit those photos and share them.<\/p>\n

I hope you feel a just a bit cooler in the summer heat by looking at this photo of the Common Grackle<\/span><\/a> in the snow, I know I do!<\/p>\n
