It just dawned on me that I haven\u2019t shared a single Ruby-throated Hummingbird photo so far this season. The time to fix that is today.<\/p>\n

I took photos of this adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird earlier this month on a fairly foggy morning. The fog helped soften the grass and soil in the background.<\/p>\n

It was still light enough, though, that I was able to capture the gorgeous ruby red of the male\u2019s gorget.<\/p>\n

Since I took this photo, young hummingbirds have started showing up at the feeders too. They\u2019re amazing to watch as they sky dance around each other at the feeders.<\/p>\n

The hummingbirds will be around for several more weeks, and I\u2019m hoping to sit out on the deck with them in my viewfinder.<\/p>\n

The higher temps seem to be bringing the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds<\/span><\/a> to the feeders. They’re busy all day long now.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
