Last month while visiting Clark County, Idaho\u00a0I was able to photograph this Yellow-pine Chipmunk<\/span><\/a> that was on the rail of an old wooden fence.<\/p>\n

These little chippies usually move fast and are challenging subjects but this one stayed still on the fence and I was able to get several frames before it moved on.<\/p>\n

Typically I don’t care much for human-made items in my images but there is something about old wooden features in images that I find appealing.<\/p>\n

Plus I find chipmunks to be irresistible!<\/p>\n

It was gloomy and rainy here all day long but late in the evening there was some clearing and I could see the Wasatch Mountains through the clouds and the fresh snow that had fallen just a few thousand feet higher in elevation than Salt Lake City.<\/p>\n

It is chilly here this morning at only 41\u00b0F but by Thursday it will be in the mid 70’s, Friday the mid 80’s and on Saturday it should reach the low 90’s. Rock and Roll weather in Utah, gotta love it!<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
