Some times when I am photographing I capture my subjects in funny poses and I think I did\u00a0exactly that with this Mountain Bluebird female. If I didn’t know what happened in the frames I shot after this one I might wonder what the bluebird is doing. Is she landing? Using the fence post as a trampoline?<\/p>\n

She is just lifting off from the fence post and in this frame her wings had not opened yet.<\/p>\n

I photographed her last week in the Centennial Valley of Montana. Some of the bluebirds there are re-nesting now because they lost their first broods to a late cold snap & snow.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
