I enjoy watching Snowy Egrets foraging for prey and I had the opportunity to do that up close last week at Glover Pond\u00a0with this egret.<\/p>\n

I do wish I could have gotten a lower angle but there is a fence in front of the pond and getting out of the vehicle would have scared all the birds away.<\/p>\n

The adult Snowy Egret had jabbed its bill into the water to capture prey\u00a0and came up empty but it sure made a splash.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
