Two years ago today I was in Glacier County, Montana photographing sparrows, partridge, Swainson’s Hawks and White-tailed Deer. White-tailed Deer are very rare in Utah so my opportunities to photograph them are limited\u00a0because I usually only see them when I head north into Idaho or Montana.<\/p>\n

I photographed this White-tailed doe early in the morning as it walked through a field of barley that was just about ready to harvest and I enjoyed how the deer and barley had picked up a golden\u00a0glow from the rising sun. This doe eventually came in so close that I was able to take portrait images<\/span><\/a> of it too.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
