I’m sharing a sunrise photo that I took a few days ago while wandering around Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. It was a gorgeous morning and sky.<\/p>\n

The air was cool but not chilly, and it smelled fresh and clean.<\/p>\n

I drove up the road until the sun was behind two trees. It glowed orange, and I liked what I saw on the back of my phone.<\/p>\n

It really wasn\u2019t a busy morning at the refuge. I saw no deer, but four different raccoons and one bobcat did make an appearance. I wasn\u2019t able to get photos of any of them because they were simply too far away and disappeared into the overgrown grasses along the side of the road before I could even get out of my vehicle.<\/p>\n

I photographed a cute Eastern Gray Squirrel and hope to do a post about that another day.<\/p>\n

Birds? Too far away, too few, and the wind started blowing while I was there, which didn\u2019t help, I\u2019m sure.<\/p>\n

Even with very few mammals present, birds that I couldn\u2019t photograph, I still had a nice morning at the refuge.<\/p>\n

I was out in nature, and I needed it, probably more than I even knew.<\/p>\n

Beautiful scenery, sunshine, fresh air, and the sounds of nature all around me. Yes, I needed it.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
