I sat outside yesterday in my camping chair determined to take a few bird photos and was able to get a few Tufted Titmouse images when they came into a River Birch in the yard.<\/p>\n

Tufted Titmice are frequent visitors here whether I’ve set out food or not, but they are easier to photograph when I have put some suet balls in the crooks of a River Birch<\/span><\/a>. They stick around just a tiny bit longer because of the food.<\/p>\n

The Tufted Titmouse in the photo above was clinging to the tree trunk waiting for a larger Northern Cardinal to leave before it flew down to grab some food.<\/p>\n

This image shows a Tufted Titmouse<\/span><\/a> near the crook of the River Birch where I place the small suet balls. The titmice and other birds seem to enjoy eating the suet and caching it away for colder days.<\/p>\n

Not that it was cold yesterday. The temp nearly reached 70\u00b0F and it is forecasted to reach 75\u00b0F later today with thunderstorms. Last year at the time I was excited to see my first snowfall in Arkansas, that sure won’t be happening today.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I also saw a Brown Creeper in the River Birch, which is a nemesis bird for me. Too bad the light was horrible when the creeper showed up around noon. Maybe, just maybe, the creeper will show back up when the light is good and I have my camera in hand. That would be simply wonderful.<\/p>\n
