Earlier this month, I photographed this adult male Northern Cardinal in the yard as he came in to snatch a suet ball for breakfast in front of a River Birch.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of cardinals here in the yard, and every time I see them, I have to smile. My mom loved these \u201cred birds,\u201d so they remind me of her. And after going so long without seeing them at all in Utah, I get excited to see them and know I\u2019ll never take them for granted.<\/p>\n

Later this week it might snow here, and if it does, I might be able to take more photos of Northern Cardinals in beautiful white fluffy stuff. I\u2019d like that, a lot.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, I\u2019m enjoying these cardinals each time I step out the front door.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
