So, is this the year that the Grinch stole winter? Where is the snow? Where is the heavy hoar frost? Where are the temps in the teens?<\/p>\n

This sure hasn’t felt like a Utah winter. It almost feels like a Florida winter.<\/p>\n

The weather forecasters keep saying there is snow in the future and all we get is cloudy days, spitting rain or a few snowflakes floating around that make you wonder if you are so wishful for snow that you are simply imagining it. I wish I could get paid for being so wrong so many times.<\/p>\n

Sure, there is snow on the mountain tops but really that just feels like a subtle tease because typically we have a lovely blanket of snow on the ground by now.<\/p>\n

Taken one year ago today at Farmington Bay WMA when there was<\/em> snow on the ground (about 6 inches), frost covered perches, ice and frost flowers growing on the ice and vegetation.<\/p>\n

Alright Grinch. Enough. Stop stealing our winter!<\/p>\n
