Yesterday I was tickled to spot not just one but a pair of Coyotes on the causeway going to Antelope Island State Park<\/span><\/a>. Unfortunately they were not close enough together to get images of both of them within the same frame.<\/p>\n

Despite the high salinity of the Great Salt Lake there are times in the winter that it does ice over and that can provide some interesting settings for whatever creatures I might find there.<\/p>\n

These Coyotes were on the south side of the causeway which gave me side light, almost back light, to photograph them in.<\/p>\n

Coyotes can be very nervous here about human presence probably due to the fact that many people shoot them so they can be difficult to approach and very wary of people.<\/p>\n

I enjoy seeing and photographing Coyotes at any opportunity and the light angle yesterday was very appealing to me.<\/p>\n
