We didn’t have much snow this past winter here in the Salt Lake Valley but after a snow storm on the 29th of December I was on Antelope Island looking for birds and animals to photograph against a snowy background.<\/p>\n

That day I photographed Coyotes and Black-billed Magpies feeding on a Mule Deer carcass<\/span><\/a> which was very exciting.<\/p>\n

I also photographed this Black-tailed Jackrabbit sitting in the snow at the campground.<\/p>\n

It might not be an image as exciting as the ones I took of the coyotes scavenging the deer carcass but I find this image appealing all the same.<\/p>\n

The reason might be that while viewing this photo I can easily recall how quiet it was that morning, how cold it felt, or how delighted I was that there was snow.<\/p>\n

I don’t have as many Black-tailed Jackrabbit<\/span><\/a> images as I would like, I need to change that.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
