Yesterday while on Antelope Island there were several Black-tailed Jackrabbits near the Bridger Bay campground that stayed still long enough to photograph them.<\/p>\n

Usually the jackrabbits scurry away before I can even get my lens aimed their way but this one sat out in the open for a while. I love to photograph them because of their shape, their long ears, and I like the color of their eyes which reminds me of caramel or butterscotch.<\/p>\n

This Black-tailed Jackrabbit was near the first one and as I photographed it I realized that its eye color was odd because they are much paler and has a slight greenish hue to them.<\/p>\n

It is my first time\u00a0 seeing a Black-tailed Jackrabbit with such pale eyes. I don’t know if this is normal or not but I found the eye color difference fascinating.<\/p>\n

Has anyone else seen such pale colored eyes on a Black-tailed Jackrabbit<\/span><\/a>?<\/p>\n
