\"Williamson's<\/a>Williamson’s Sapsucker at the Magical Sapsucker Tree<\/span><\/p>\n

The day started off dreary at the Red Rock Lakes NWR campground but things began to get sunnier and more magical at the Sapsucker Tree I visited last year and the starring bird was the Willamson’s Sapsucker<\/span><\/a> himself. It was so good to see and photograph him again. I didn’t see the female, maybe the next time I go to the tree I will.<\/p>\n

\"MountainMountain Chickadee in the Targhee National Forest<\/span><\/p>\n

A Mountain Chickadee<\/span><\/a> also showed up on a branch chattering the whole time it was there. In hindsight I wish I had not removed my teleconverter so I could have gotten some frame filling shots but I like this image any way.<\/p>\n

\"Red-breastedRed-breasted Nuthatch in the Targhee National Forest of Idaho<\/span><\/p>\n

A pair of Red-breasted Nuthatches<\/span><\/a> also made an appearance and went to each cavity and checked them out before they flew away.<\/p>\n

It seems something is always going on at the Magical Sapsucker Tree!<\/p>\n

Life is good.<\/p>\n

Yesterday may have started off dreary but it sure got lively with a Willamson’s Sapsucker, Mountain Chickadee and a pair of Red-breasted Nuthatches at the Magical Sapsucker Tree!
