It has now been a week since I have been out in the field due to rainy and cloudy weather so I thought I would dig into my archives and found this Roseate Spoonbill at sunset that I photographed not long before I left Florida.<\/p>\n

The Roseate Spoonbill was at the edge of a spartina marsh as the tide was going out and I was sitting in the warm water of the tidal lagoon as the sun started to slip towards the horizon over the Gulf of Mexico.<\/p>\n

I didn’t know it at the time but this was the last Roseate Spoonbill I would photograph at Fort De Soto’s north beach.<\/p>\n

I have always loved the pinks of the Roseate Spoonbills and the evening sun just made the colors even more delightful looking.<\/p>\n

Life is good even when the rain is falling and the skies are cloudy and gray.<\/p>\n
