I’m back from my trip to Wayne County, Utah and although it wasn’t a very birdy trip I enjoyed getting out and away from the city.<\/p>\n

High up on the Parker Range there was a large stand of Quaking Aspen and just outside of the trees there was a Mule Deer<\/span><\/a> grazing on the green grasses.<\/p>\n

I was able to photograph her before she moved across the dirt road towards another stand of aspens in the distance.<\/p>\n

Although the stand of trees was a long way from any town I could still see signs that humans had been there being destructive because of the carvings in the trees.<\/p>\n

I’ve never been tempted to carve my initials into a tree and I don’t understand why people do it unless it is to say “I was here” but I know I would much rather be there, enjoy it and leave no trace.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
