I am a little late but I want to post this Ruddy Turnstone for World Shorebirds Day<\/span><\/span><\/a> which was September 4 – 6.<\/p>\n

About half the world’s shorebird populations are in decline and with climate change and rising sea levels habitat loss is happening at a faster rate than ever before.<\/p>\n

Shorebirds are what sparked me into getting into bird photography and they got me into sand crawling, mud-sliding and sitting quietly in lagoons while the shorebirds rested, preened, foraged, and interacted with the other shorebirds around them.<\/p>\n

I can’t imagine a world without them.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
