After a long, hot summer I always look forward to the first day of autumn because it usually means cooler temperatures along with the scenery becoming more colorful as the leaves begin to turn.<\/p>\n

The reds, oranges and yellows of fall colors have begun to show up here in northern Utah but the temps…<\/p>\n

Well… it doesn’t look much like autumn from this 10 day forecast for Salt Lake City. The average temperature here is 74\u00b0F for today which means they are predicting that it will be 13\u00b0 warmer than normal and it doesn’t look like we’ll see “normal” temps until October 2.<\/p>\n

It is the hottest year on record and so far I don’t see that letting up.<\/p>\n

In fact it feels like Autumn is the new<\/em> Summer in northern Utah.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good. Right?<\/p>\n
