I have posted teasels here<\/span><\/a> before but those images were taken while the teasel was in bloom and today I am posting autumn teasels with dried flower heads. I was photographing sparrows on a wild rose bush and when the birds weren’t around I turned my lens towards the teasels that were on the east side of the rose bush.<\/p>\n

The teasels at the top were in full light with dried grasses in the background and I quite liked the warm tones in the image.<\/p>\n

Then I aimed my lens down towards some teasels that had side light on them with the shade of nearby trees in the background and I like the contrast between the warm and cool tones in the frame. I like playing with light.<\/p>\n

I did get some images of the Song and White-crowned Sparrows on the wild rose and I like how this Song Sparrow<\/span><\/a> had its back to me but gave me a nice head turn over its shoulder.<\/p>\n
