I don&#8217;t photograph them often enough and I should remedy that.<\/p>\n<p>I finished moving all of my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onthewingphotography.com\/wings\/swans-geese-and-ducks\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">swan, geese and duck images<\/span><\/a> to my new photo galleries last week and came across this image of a pair of Canada Geese resting on ice at <a href=\"http:\/\/wildlife.utah.gov\/habitat\/farmington_bay.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Farmington Bay WMA<\/span><\/a> that I had taken in February of 2010 and recalled how much I liked this photo. The geese have usually paired up by February and I typically see pairs of them together that time of the year instead of in large flocks.<\/p>\n<p>I like how the one goose is laying on the ice, how the other one seems to be standing guard over it and I especially like how the gold colored vegetation in the distance is reflected on the ice at the top of the frame.
