I’m back from my trip to southern Utah and it wasn’t as successful as most of my bird photography trips are for various reasons, I believe the most pertinent is heading down south a bit too early in the year. Bird photography isn’t always easy though and that is a simple fact.<\/p>\n

I was able to get a few images of a Golden Eagle yesterday morning as it perched on some huge, ancient boulders in early morning light.\u00a0 The size of the boulders made the Golden Eagle look small in comparison and they are very large birds.<\/p>\n

I also was able to get a series of images of the Golden Eagle as it lifted off and flew over those ancient boulders. I do wish the eagle’s head was turned a bit more towards me for better eye contact but when it comes to Golden Eagles, a nemesis bird for me, I’ll take images of them whenever I have the opportunity, each and every time.<\/p>\n
