Last month I posted an image of a sub-adult Red-tailed Hawk that I photographed in Clark County, Idaho<\/span><\/a> while I was still camping up there and I wanted to post an image of that same hawk today that was taken not long after the one I had previously posted from the road.<\/p>\n

This photo shows the sub-adult Red-tailed Hawk<\/span><\/a> in flight in the glow of the evening light just a split second after it had lifted off from a perch further away.<\/p>\n

I especially like the great eye contact I captured, the pose, the legs and talons dangling below the hawk, and how the evening light made the hawk stand out so well from the background.<\/p>\n

Such a handsome hawk!<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
