I’ve struggled with my internet connection issues again this morning so I will make this a brief post instead of the longer one I had planned.<\/em><\/p>\n

In March of 2009 I spent half a day on Half Moon Cay which is a tiny, beautiful tropical island in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n

The birds there were wonderful and I wish I could have spent a couple of days photographing them because the time I did have with them just wasn’t enough.<\/p>\n

Bananaquits seemed to be everywhere and they easily outnumbered all the other birds I saw. They were a bit on the skittish side though so when I caught them out in the open I quickly took images of them.<\/p>\n

I was especially pleased when I found this Bananaquit perched on a colorful Bougainvillea in decent light for a few frames.<\/p>\n

Sorry this is short, I grew tired of fighting to stay on line.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
