The problem is I don&#8217;t have many images of Marsh Wrens doing the splits because they move so fast that by the time I see this pose they have flown off before I can focus on them and because when I can focus on them there is usually something obstructing a clear view of the wren.<\/p>\n<p>In this Marsh Wren image it would have been great to have a clear view of both of the wren&#8217;s feet but I had a bent over cattail stalk in the way. Still I like the graphic lines in the image, the warm golden light, the eye contact with my subject and the relatively uncluttered background.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img location I photographed another Marsh Wren doing the splits and this time both feet can easily be seen, I have great eye contact and light but the background is a bit on the messy side.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe one day I will find a Marsh Wren doing the splits where everything in the background, foreground and view of the bird is perfect but nature is what it is and I am happy with these two
