Wow, March is over and it is the first of April already. Spring migration is occurring and the days are getting longer.<\/p>\n

I’m keeping my daily post simple today, as simple as a Mourning Dove close up I photographed on Antelope Island last spring taken while it moved through the dew laden grasses. I was delighted to get a close up photo because these doves are normally very skittish and fly away almost immediately.<\/p>\n

Mourning Doves are not flashy birds, they aren’t loud and they aren’t as fascinating to some people as raptors are but they are beautiful to me and I love hearing their soft calls<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
