White-faced Ibises breed and nest in the freshwater marshes around the Great Salt Lake<\/span><\/a>. Generally they migrate south for the winter though this winter there were a few that stayed at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area. That may be due to the very mild winter we had.<\/p>\n

I photographed this White-faced Ibis in flight last fall at Farmington Bay WMA as it came in for a landing.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
