For those of you who read my post from yesterday about the frustrations I was having while photographing the Red-naped Sapsucker nesting cavity<\/span><\/a> I want you to know that last evening I was able to get the images I had hoped for of the chick(s) sticking their heads out of the cavity while the adult was feeding them.\u00a0 I even got a few flight shots of the adult coming in.<\/p>\n

It was not as frustrating because by changing positions and having a lighter background made the exposure not as extreme. It sure was a lot less exasperating for me to change positions a little bit. Yay! But it was late and I didn’t have time to process any of those images.<\/p>\n

Today’s post is just a simple bird. A sky blue Mountain Bluebird perched on a rustic pine fence railing taken on a bright beautiful morning in the Centennial Valley of Montana. I loved the blue of the bird against the warm tones of the pine and how the fence maker left some of the bark on the log because I love that texture.<\/p>\n

I’m having a great time with birds, creatures, and the amazing views found on our public lands. I feel rejuvenated and ready to fight this current administration’s attempt to rob us and future generations of our national treasures.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
