Some of my photos make me laugh, I can’t always explain why but in some cases I can. This photo made me laugh when I viewed it on my camera LCD screen and then I laughed again when I viewed it on my computer monitor.<\/p>\n

To me it looks like this American White Pelican was doing an impression of a floating, domestic white turkey because when the pelican was facing me nearly head on the length of pelican’s long bill seemed to disappear and the pouch looked more like a wattle.<\/p>\n

It just looks odd.<\/p>\n

In this photo taken of the same bird you can see the long bill and the pouch that pelicans, brown or white, are famous for.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t take much to amuse me some days.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
